Stereotactic Radiosurgery
Stereotactic radiosurgery is a carefully controlled process that consists of a series of steps: consultation, positioning, imaging, treatment planning, treatment delivery, and follow-up care.
External Beam Radiation Therapy
The goal of radiation therapy is to get enough radiation into the body to kill the cancer cells while preventing damage to healthy tissue.
Brachytherapy Treatments
During brachytherapy, the radioactive sources may be left in place permanently or only temporarily, depending upon your cancer.
Personal Care
If possible, ask friends and family to help out during treatment by running errands and preparing meals. This will help you get the rest you need to focus on fighting your cancer.
